High school grads failing to qualify for U.S. Army

Michele Linck, Sioux City Journal - 04/22/2011 - More than 20 percent of American high school graduates who want to enlist in the U.S. Army can't. They fail to score high enough on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, or ASVAB, on which recruits must demonstrate proficiency, along with being morally upright (lacking a criminal record) and physically fit.
