Army Green to Gold Program: Enlisted Officers

The Army Green to Gold program is designed to offer Enlisted Soldiers in the Army the opportunity to earn a commission as an Army Officer. The Green to Gold Scholarship Option allows Soldiers who are considering leaving active duty to attend college a unique opportunity to earn a commission while continuing education.

The Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Defense Education Program offers scholarships to undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students who have demonstrated ability and special aptitude for training and education in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) fields. Students are also provided opportunities to continue their research in civil service roles following graduation.
